Our 15-day guided tour takes you from Kathmandu across the Nepal-Tibet border at Rasuwagadi, through the Tibetan Plateau to Everest Base Camp's north face at 5,200m, and all the way to the ancient city of Lhasa at 3,700m. This is riding past the holiest Buddhist sites alongside the world's highest peak.

A more manageable day's ride back to Kerung — the first Tibetan town you encountered on Day 3, now familiar and almost comforting. Stay overnight here, 24km from the Nepal-Tibet immigration checkpoint, as you prepare for the final crossing back into Nepal.
🔄 Homeward Bound · Back to Kerung · Almost ThereRide the 24km from Kerung to the Nepal-Tibet border at Rasuwagadi. After immigration formalities, descend back into Nepal via Shyabrubesi, Dhunche, and Trishuli — a long mountain road through lush green forest that looks almost impossibly beautiful after 12 days on the plateau. Arrive Kathmandu triumphant.

An international driving license is mandatory for all participants. Ensure it's valid and carry the original. Minimum 4 riders required per departure.
Send a valid passport copy by email, and deliver the original passport to our Kathmandu office at least 3 days before tour start. Tibet Bureau takes up to a week for permit approval.
The tour reaches 5,200m at Everest Base Camp. Consult your doctor if you have cardiovascular or respiratory conditions. Acclimatization day at Kerung is built into the itinerary.
Bring your own complete riding gear — helmet, boots, gloves, and a riding suit with back protector. This is high-altitude, remote-road touring. Non-negotiable safety.
Strongly recommended. High-altitude rescue is extremely expensive. Ensure your policy explicitly covers adventure riding above 4,000m.
One copy passport photograph required: white background, no eyeglasses, both ears clearly visible. Submit with your passport for the Tibetan visa application.
Tibet Tourism Bureau requires permit processing to begin 45 days before the tour start date. Book early — last-minute applications are not possible.
Mid-April through September is ideal. Winter closes most high-altitude passes and permits become very difficult to obtain outside this window.
